Ingredients

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make Flax Egg
- Prepare a flax egg by combining the ground flaxseed with water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3: Melt the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl or stovetop, melt chocolate chips. Set aside.
Step 4: Mix Wet Ingredients & Sugar
- In a large mixing bowl, add oil, coffee, and sweetener. Whisk well.
- Add in prepared flax egg, melted chocolate, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Step 5: Mix Dry Ingredients Into Wet Ingredients
- Sift into the wet ingredients the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
Step 6: Optional Mix-Ins or Swirls
- Fold in chocolate chips and/or nuts (if using).
- Dollop peanut butter or pour caramel sauce onto brownie batter and swirl it into the batter before baking.
Step 7: Bake
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 8: Cool and Serve
